Standup

Standup based on timezone is at 10:15AM every day

Work Hours

Work hours are intentionally left flexible. We have found as long as there is a 2 hour overlap between team members and a daily 10:15AM standup that everyone is present for that it works.

Why do this?

  1. We have found it feeds creativity. Allowing team members to be in their own circadian rhythm and do what they want to do.
  2. Different people have different needs. For instance, parents tend to be early risers(kids need to go to school. Single folks tend to prefer later hours. Some have an early gym routine, some pray etc.
  3. It attracts great talent. People love when companies allow them to live life on their own terms. That is exactly the type of people we want to attract. Free thinkers, creative people. Dedicated and disciplined, yet given the freedom to live their own lives.

One catch - Product Integrity

Flexibility should not come at the cost of integrity of product. This is important to note. Individuals are still expected to put in what is expected of them. Whether this be software, design, product, marketing, sales, customer engagement etc.

Standard Hours

For those looking for direction, standard hours are 10am to 6pm in your respective timezone.

There Are Exceptions

Razroo as a software company at times must beckon to the needs of its customers and product. Occasionally there are exceptions to this rule. It is up to your manager to voice this and HR will let you know if this is indeed the case.
